The nondaily report (3)
May. 19th, 2004 08:27 pmMike Discepolo: I can't believe he actually wants us to buy that [book we need to read for history].
Me: So go to a library...
Mike Discepolo: I don't believe in libraries.
Me: What, are you a Libertarian?
Mike Discepolo: No, I just owe them $20.
Dave: If both people are dead, is it still necrophilia?
[I decided to ask the Oracle that. He's not replied yet.]
So the Engineering Fair has come and gone, and I managed to avoid doing actually doing anything. Yay.
Last night I had a really weird dream. I could go into more detail about it but the only thing I really feel like pointing out was that at one part there were these alien invaders which looked just like humans, except that, while like any human they only had 2 arms, they could do this thing with their hands that required 4. They used 4 arms, but they only actually had 2. I guess. Probably best not to think about it. What it was was they would make a square (tilted π/4) with their hands, with each hand being one side of the square, with their fingers interlocking. Oh yeah, and one of them looked like Neji, from Naruto. Really the whole square-thing reminded me of hand-seals... especially since they did apparently magical things with them...
Whee, after not working on it for a while, I have finally gotten Humble Numbers to work on a few test cases. Yay.
I tried to write Q×≃Z[x]×C2 on the back of my ID, but the pen wrote inconsistently. I ended up scribbling it out.
