Why can't we just use L'Hopital's?!
Apr. 6th, 2004 06:14 pmBah. Stupid AP problems.
Random other stuff from school:
The TI-89 clearly does not know how to differentiate functions of the form f(x)=a∫bg(x,t)dt. That is to say, it gets it wrong.
Σlog(1+e-n) converges! Yaaaay! *waves convergence flag*
Dr. Ostfeld says the explanation for iron pyrite is well known, but it's complicated and he doesn't remember it, and that it *does* involve a mixture of oxidation states.
This is something I thought up today. In addition to big O and little o, there should also be tiny o, where f(x)=o(g(x)) means Σf(x)/g(x) converges. ...I suppose it's kind of stupid, but it would have *some* use. I think.
Hm. Apparently Choketsu has started referring to "Dr. Vijaya" as just "Sankaran". Not to her face, but...
The bridge contest is over! Which means now I have to find something else to do... :P
I never did improve it past $146,021.26, putting me in 174th out of 2809 (in Zone I). The winning price overall was $137,062.78. Wow.
End random other stuff from school.
