Belated Presents Report
Dec. 29th, 2003 09:51 pmAnother thing I forgot. My parents strangely got me quite a few presents for Chanukah this year, and once again, I manage to get away with doing nothing more than making them a card which I happen to think is funny.
But they got me... Formula De, Carcasonne (which I have beaten Elana repeatedly at and which nobody knows how to pronounce), the 5&6 player expansion for SoC (yay!), a used copy (it's out of print) of The Original Hitchhiker Radio Scripts (oooh), and Munchkin (the only game I know of with a "Chicken on Your Head" card).
So, a big thank you to my parents! Of course they don't read this and I've already thanked them, but that's besides the point...

...oh, and *never* click on View System Log in gaim. I wasted probably a good half an hour waiting for it to display. Don't even open the system log with a web browser. I wasted another 15 minutes that way. Open it with a text editor. Better yet, just open it with less, and interrupt it while it calculates the line numbers, which is what I did, but it opened quickly in vi when I tried that later.
