I return... again...
Aug. 26th, 2003 02:45 pmI'm not going to make a stupid linefeed joke because that just doesn't work in the title.
Anyway, I'm home again. Again.
Now, as to where I *was*:
Hm. I could give a complete record of everything that happened, but my memory's not that good, my days are quite unsurityful, so I'm just going to compressify everything. Badly. You know how much I wanted to write about at PROMYS but didn't? (I never *did* post any Billy stories, did I?) Well, this isn't nearly as long, so it won't be as much, but I'm rambling anyway, so I'll just cut to the something-or-other, my vocabulary is disappearing again, like that time that I couldn't remember the word for "number". Um.
Day 1:
Arrived. I think. Yes, that must be it, we arrived. Er... other stuff.
Day 2:
Um... trying to remember... trying to remember... ah yes, minor league baseball. Always good.
Day 3:
Er... something.
Day 4:
Day 4, we... oh, I don't remember, I'll just skip to day n.
Day n:
Left, arrived in next location. More stuff I can't remember. Dad left his credit card in a restaurant, recovered it on day n+1.
Day n+1:
Something about ice cream. Unless that was day n. Dad found his credit card.
Day n+2:
OK, I'm forgetting again. Wait, no wonder I'm forgetting, this is all out of chronological order! The credit card thing was back in location 1! Skip to day m.
Day m:
Er... let's see...
We went on a tour of a winery. We ate food. Wait, we always do that.
Day m+1:
I AM CONFUSED! I'll skip to day k.
Day k:
We returned home.
That was our vacation in a nutshell. Or in New York. Or whatever. Please ignore me, I'm not taking any mense today.
