My bio book is found, or found to have been returned by someone else.
Case 2.
I pay Dr. Niedosik $120, and manage to get Rajesh to pay *me* $120, as *he's* the one who lost it.
Case 3.
I pay Dr. Niedosik $120, and Rajesh gets away scot-free (or possibly just paying me less than the $120).
Case 4.
I get no report card and can't take electives.
Obviously, exactly one of these cases must be true. Therefore...
