sniffnoyI think the answer to that is right after *Bombman*. Michael Toney's Xbox not only has a SNES emulator with the romset, but also a NES emulator with many games whose names are formatted in such a way that they also appear to be from some sort of romset, and, well, many more emulators! Sure, Genesis, Game Gear, Master System, N64, but also *Neo-Geo* and *Colecovision* and *Atari 2600*. Wowness.
See, he was playing Mega Man 2 the other day. I haven't played Mega Man 2 - I never played any of the first six Mega Man games, except for playing 3 once or twice many years ago - but I recognized it from the music. Anyway, so, yeah, now I have something new to do when the TV is free. I think I'll play them in order.
Today was the first math midterm, which was a bunch of pretty easy questions which we did not have nearly enough time to do. I finished... two of them. Yay.
Blech - this CS class has been a joke so far. We have basically been doing *nothing*.
...actually, that's what I've meant to write for the past few weeks, but now we're actually doing something, namely, sorting algorithms, so yay.
We're reading the Poetics now in Hum, which - maybe this is just a translation thing, but I'm thinking it's not - is written *much* more clearly than the Republic. Not to mention it actually makes a lot more sense. Yay things that make sense.
So I'm signed up for 2 QB tournaments currently, namely the Illinois Open and ACF Fall. And the editor for the ACF Fall team I'm on never assigned us questions, and since he's the only non-first-year on that team, none of us thought to start writing any by ourselves, so yay, we're paying the full penalty fee for late questions! EDIT: No, worse yet! We're only sending in 10/10, *and* sending them in late! Hooray! :-/
My alarm clock seems to randomly fail now and then. This is bad.
I suppose that basically sums up what's going on around now.
