OK, looks like the rest of our intramural tournament is never being held, unless it's sometime next week.

So my feeble attempt to organize some people for Senior Showcase failed, and I didn't even going to see the Senior Showcase, having seen the list of acts not thinking it too impressive.

Alright, enough of this whining, here's some good news - they got enough people at PROMYS this year that they decided to make Frackleton a counselor after all! (But why is Li-Mei still not a counselor?...) (Sorry, sorry, just in a bit of a bad mood...)

I will not rant about PROMYS. PROMYS has been good to me.
I will not rant about PROMYS. PROMYS has resulted in material for a funny book which I'm using to waste my time.

I will not rant about PROMYS. PROMYS is partially responsible for my scholarship.

...

What the fuck is wrong with PROMYS in terms of counselor selection? No, seriously, what the fuck? Aaron (big fat obnoxious dude) is a counselor. Li-Mei is not. Fergie is a JC (no offense, but I don't think people should learn from his examples). Liz's best guess is that Glenn is on the crack. I might have to agree there.

Up is down, left is right, an asshole's on the IMO team.

Oh wait, that DID happen.

I apologize for an extended rant in your LJ, especially when mine is so neglected, but things piss me off. I can even somewhat accept that PROMYS doesn't want me as a counselor, and I'm glad Holbrook is hiring me (and on the books this time!), but at the very least, this isn't a job I'll be able to take next summer, and I'm not sure it's one that improves my odds of getting anything else. To quote Tom Smykowski of the Jump-to-Conclusions Mat, "I have people skills; I am good at dealing with people. Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?"

'K, rant over.
